Installation

Badeloft offers drop-in, undermount, ramp and freestanding sinks. To install your sink, follow these steps: 

1. Preparation

• Shut off the water supply to sink
• Sort out plumbing either by yourself or hire a plumber
• Remove old sink
• Ensure you have extra lag screws and washers ready
• Ensure you have assistance as sinks can be heavy to move
• Measure and mark the kitchen sink’s layout

2. Remove vanity and sink

• Carefully cut around the edge of the sink
• Remove any screws or bolts holding the sink or cabinet to the wall
• It is recommended that you should remove the sink first, followed by the countertop, then finally the vanity

3. Patch up

• Before installing, patch up holes in the wall and apply paint as needed
• New flooring or tile should be applied before continuing

4. Faucet and Drain

• Connect water lines to the faucet and install your new faucet on the sink
• Install the drain kit using a thin layer of silicone to the drain flange to prevent leakage

5. Install Vanity and Sink

• Install vanity cabinet first
• Ensure all are level before placing sink

6. Plumbing

• Attach hot and cold water lines to shutoff valves and tighten
• Install drain traps to the sink and to the waste line
• Check water to spot leaks
• Don’t over-tighten
