About Badeloft's Stainless Steel

Our Material

Badeloft utilizes high-quality SUS 304-a type of stainless steel that is highly rust resistant due to the presence of chromium, which helps prevent corrosion and rust. 304 can withstand most oxidizing acids, and its added durability makes it easy to sanitize, making it an obvious choice for Badeloft sinks. We apply a PVD coating that gives the steel additional rust, corrosion, discoloration resistance, and general protection against the elements.

Our process is simple. We use an electric arc furnace, passing a current through until the temperature reaches our desired point. The material is then transferred in an Argon Oxygen Decarburization vessel where the carbon levels are reduced, and we can make final alloy adjustments. After the sink is created, we then provide a final heat treatment and acid wash to promote a better surface before polishing and finishing it to our high standards.

Perfect for the home

Our stainless steels are perfect for the home, pairing well with modern and classic fixtures. Constructed from highly durable 304 stainless steel, our sinks have three durable layers: a Nano-coating that is easy to clean and maintain, a PVD coating that provides a diverse color range to match any decor or style, and, as mentioned, our 304 stainless steel that is resistant to corrosion and rust. The PVD coating provides much better protection than standard electroplating and does not tarnish or fade over time. It also provides immense scratch and corrosion resistance to an already durable material.

Our stainless steel contains between 16-24% chromium and up to 35% nickel, allowing it to withstand anything your home can throw at it, making it ideal for the kitchen or bathroom. The high chromium count means our sinks can withstand many cleaners and acidic compounds without damage or staining. The polished sink basin complements natural and artificial lighting and would make an excellent addition to your home.

Stainless steel utilizes chromium and nickel to create a stronger compound than regular steel, allowing it to deal with rust and corrosion. The result is a material that offers excellent resistance to bacteria, mold, dirt, acid, stains, heat, chemicals, breakage, and corrosion.

Our stainless steel is also easy to clean and lightweight, making it easy to install. Adding a PVD coating also gives the sink anti-bacterial properties as there is no surface for bacteria to grow due to the dense qualities of the coating itself. We are quite confident in our engineering process and the quality of the sinks and know they will easily last a life-time.
